Connect Counseling LLC. began as two colleagues, Michael Hoober and Eric Bondy, working together in January 2018. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck and we moved to teletherapy, we grew as other solo practitioners sought community and support with the new medium. As the pandemic receded we grew to a team of nine counselors and social workers with four offices across Central Pennsylvania.
Presently we are seeking licensed (LPC, LSW, LCSW, PsyD/PhD, etc.) and pre-licensed mental health professionals to join our team of uncommon counselors, part time and/or full time. We focus on providing our communities with attachment-based, relationship-focussed, eco-systemic, applied developmental approaches to outpatient services for individuals, couples and families.
Basics
- All practice management tools/teletherapy software provided.
- Pay based on a split of billable hours (negotiable) plus annual bonus.
- Weekly clinical supervision. bi-weekly team meetings and regular trainings.
- No non compete clause in contract.
- If you stay for 2 years, you can take your clients with you when you leave (with some expectations.)

While our employees are able to move between offices, if they so desire, here are the specific roles we wish to fill in three of our current offices:
Lancaster (Connect Counseling HQ)
- Outpatient Counselor
- School-Based Counselor
- College Counselor
- Office Administrator
In addition to traditional outpatient work with clients, we have support contracts with larger entities. One contract includes a local college whereas our team serves as the college counselors. Another contract includes a local private high school, we support their counseling department with school-based, crisis counseling, parenting support and family therapy.
We are also seeing some administration help for our team. While a clinical background would be helpful, it is not necessary. Pay would be an hourly rate commensurate with your experience.
Gettysburg
- Outpatient Counselor
- DBT Group Leader
In addition to traditional outpatient work with clients, we are about to launch a DBT group. While not mandatory, we are especially interested in someone with DBT experience, who is eager to launch a new group (or two.)
Harrisburg
- Outpatient Counselor
- Team Leader
This is our newest office which opened in March 2023. We are looking for a few more counselors to use this space well as well as one to take on the role of Team Leader. The Team Leader will be the main liaison between the HQ and the remote office.
